BackPack Program
The BackPack Program joins community resources to increase nutrition for children. Our School joins with First Methodist of Sapulpa and the food bank to provide food bags to 140 students on Fridays. The sack contains child accessible nutritious food and snacks and shelf-stable milk that does not need refrigeration. First Methodist funds this program through fundraiser such as their pumpkin patch and their lunch and auction. They have also helped us with school supplies. Mobile Pantry: (1/18/12) Drive up for free food such as fresh produce, baked goods & packaged food.
